Improx Games has confirmed a release date for its brain-teasing puzzle adventure game The Last Cube on Nintendo Switch.
You will be challenged to guide a cube through moody, monolithic chambers as you learn more about the story behind the game’s derelict world.
From foggy nightmarish abysses to oppressive lava-lit factories, each stage will introduce a new type of sticker to latch onto your cube. Each will present an entirely new mechanic, whether that be letting you dash through barriers, create makeshift stairs or allow you to teleport yourself over bottomless chasms.
“The Last Cube has come a long way since its inception in 2017 and has grown into a far more ambitious project than we ever could have imagined,” Improx Games creative director Max Samarin.
“The final result is a rich puzzle experience whose gameplay is full of joyful aha-moments and surprises, set in very diverse, colourful, eerie and mysterious environments of the Cube Planet. We think casual and hardcore puzzle fans alike will be enamoured by its gradually evolving mechanics and wealth of secrets when The Last Cube launches on March 10th.”
The Last Cube will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 10th March 2022.
