Ratalaika Games and ebi-hime have confirmed that The Language of Love will release on Nintendo Switch this month.

This six-hour visual novel promises to tell “an endearing romance story between two unlikely characters.”

After his mother is caught in an unexpected accident, Tanimura Mitsuki must put his life and education on hold. Helping his parents run their humble family business for five years, the rest of his friends leave home and leave him behind.

Now 23 years old, Mitsuki must relearn everything that he was taught at high school so that he can be accepted into university. He moves to Tokyo to attend a rigorous cram school with the hope of passing his university entrance exams, but, due to his age, his classmates treat him like a social outcast.

That is when he meets single mother Himuro Kyouko, who happens to live in the same apartment complex as him. Offering to help babysit Kyouko’s daughter, she helps Mitsuki study for his upcoming exams. But, over the course of the year, their bond grows into something more than friendship.

The Language of Love will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 30th October 2020.
