If there was ever a time to be sat in the audience for The Ellen Show, it was on the day after her 12 Days of Giveaways concluded.
Everyone in the audience expected that the seasonal treats were over, but found themselves treated to a selection of donated gifts from sponsors, which included a $100 Target gift card, a $200 ful luggage set, a $250 Dick’s Sporting Goods voucher to spend on Muck boots, a $500 Lancer skin care package, and a $400 Cloud 9 Living gift card.
The big present though was that everyone would receive the Skylanders SWAP Force Wii U Bundle, which includes the White Basic system as well as the Skylanders SWAP Force starter pack and Nintendo Land.
Whether it was arranged by Nintendo of America or Activision themselves remains unclear, but it’s the positive PR stunt that continues to raise much needed awareness of Nintendo’s new console.
