The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was repeatedly seen in the Nintendo Switch reveal trailer but, even with such a prominent placement, Bethesda has clarified that they are “are not confirming any specific titles at this time.”

As with many other third-party publishers, Bethesda are keeping their cards close to their chest, seemingly indicating that Nintendo’s reveal plans will result in a third-party software showcase – presumably in a Nintendo Direct format.

“We’re happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the video. While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of the Switch,” a Bethesda spokesperson shared with IGN. “We look forward to revealing specific games and details in the future.”

Another game that we saw was NBA 2K17 but, when asked if that meant it was confirmed for the console, a 2K Games representative shared a near identical statement: “We’re happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the trailer. While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of Nintendo Switch. We look forward to revealing specific details at a later date.”

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
