Luxury resort casino and hotel The Cosmopolitan, based in Las Vegas, has announced plans to open an EA Sports Bar.
Due to open on March 31st the lounge-style venue, which can hold an approximate 125 guests, will offer patrons a selection of EA Sports titles to play, as well as key sports events broadcast by the bar.
A partnership formed between The Cosmopolitan, EA Sports, PlayStation and Sharp will see the venue provide PlayStation 3 consoles to play games such as Madden NFL 12, FIFA 12 and Tiger Woods, with six high-definition televisions used to broadcast daily sporting events.
It is aimed that the venue achieves an intimate “living room” feel, adorned with leather chairs, sofas and an antique football table. A retail area will also provide the opportunity to purchase clothing, gifts and video games.
