A high-definition version of High Voltage Software’s The Conduit is currently in development for NVIDIA’s Tegra-powered Android devices.

Previously a Wii exclusive, The Conduit HD sees improved graphics and touchscreen controls, with support for GameStop’s Wireless Bluetooth Controller for those that wish to use a more traditional control scheme.

“This project is important for our industry because it proves that not only can we deliver console-quality gameplay experiences on mobile platforms, but we can improve them,” commented Eric Nofsinger, High Voltage Software’s chief creative officer.

“From the graphics to the gameplay, The Conduit HD delivers an experience that was only previously possible on consoles.”

The Conduit HD will release on March 14th through the Google Play store.
