Skybound Games and Beamdog have announced that The Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack’s release on Nintendo Switch has suffered a delay.

This celebrates the series’ 20th anniversary and comes with both the original Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition and Baldur’s Gate II: Enhanced Edition, all downloadable content and restored quest content, and the Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear expansion – new original content that was created to bridge the two games.

For these ports, the developer has added native support for high-resolution widescreen displays, controls optimized for console controllers, new standalone content, new characters and classes, new voice sets, expanded character creation options, improved multiplayer functionality, redesigns of the UI and UX, bug fixes, balance changes, and more.

The Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition Pack will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on October 15th, priced at $49.99.
