Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles is in development for Nintendo Switch.
In this 2D side-scrolling action RPG, you will follow leader Rimuru Tempest and companions as they build the Jura Tempest Federation from the ground up and develop it. You will be able to take on sub-quests, helping your companions to strengthen their relationships and fighting skills.
Leaving town, you will be able to explore the world of Tempest, engaging in heated battles against foes and bosses using dynamic combos and techniques from the anime.
The game will follow the original story which includes encounters with the Kigin and the battle against the Kingdom of Falmuth, which the publisher sees as “a great way for newcomers to discover the universe.”
It also includes two additional exclusive stories which have been supervised by Fuse, the original author, that will star new characters designed by the series’ original illustrator.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime ISEKAI Chronicles will be released at retail and digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 8 August 2024.
