505 Games has announced that a new software update for Terraria is now live, bringing the 2D action-adventure sandbox game to version 1.4.5.
From Re-Logic (PC) and DR Studios (console/mobile), the highly anticipated update adds crossover content from Palworld and Dead Cells, introducing Pals, additional weapons, combat accessories and items.
There are extensive patch notes that you can read through, but the update “represents a meaningful focus on polish and improvement.”
The developers have responded to the community’s most requested quality-of-life changes, delivered more content, which includes “fifteen furniture sets, five types of boulders, four transformation mounts, new whips and Summoner prefixes, kites, critters, and decorative features.”
There’s also a new Skyblock seed, the world creation menu has been revamped, and existing seeds have been improved, while weapons have been reworked and balance adjustments, visual updates to classic sprites, and many other quality-of-life improvements have been implemented.
Terraria is now available digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
