Bandai Namco Entertainment was listed as a third-party publisher supporting Nintendo Switch, but we are waiting to hear more on their wider plans for the console.

We know that Namco Museum and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as well as an untitled Taiko Drum Master and Tales Of game, those holding out for news on Tekken 7 will soon be disappointed.

While Tekken series producer Katsuhiro Harada shared that the publisher has a strict policy on which Nintendo Switch games he can discuss, he added that they had been far too hard at work on developing the game for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

“Officially, we can’t really comment on that because our company has [a] strict policy about which titles we talk about for Switch,” Harada explained to GameSpot. “But personally, we’ve been so busy with trying to master up Tekken for the current platforms that we haven’t really had enough time to study the hardware. We couldn’t even buy it – it was sold out every time we went to look for it.”

Considering that the game has been developed with Unreal Engine 4 – which Nintendo Switch supports – that will come as a disappointment to many. That is, unless they are secretly leaving the spotlight open for Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers.
