Mattel and Milestone have released “a show-stopping gameplay video” for Hot Wheels Unleashed, an action-packed arcade-style racing game coming to Nintendo Switch later this year.
With the chance to drive the cars as if you were playing with their die-cast toys, the gameplay promises “adrenaline-filled races, an extended choice of Hot Wheels vehicles with different attributes and rarity levels that players can customize with different skins, and jaw-dropping tracks set in everyday-life locations with special track pieces and interactive items.”
The need to drift, boost and jump are just the start to what the developer hopes will deliver “an iconic thrill-ride from the starting line to finish line.” The gameplay trailer below has also revealed Rodger Dodger, Twin Mill, Rip Rod, Night Shifter, Dragon Blaster and Sharkruiser as the first six vehicles out of more than 60 that will be available at launch.
Hot Wheels Unleashed will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 30th September 2021.
