Ultimas and Mighty Pebble Games have revealed that Miner Meltdown will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.

This fast-paced 2D team-based multiplayer game challenges four-on-four teams to scavenge randomly-generated maps for gold while attempting to blow up the opposing team in an effort to earn the most points and win the match.

That will see you use jetpacks, ropes and grapples to traverse the map, using the gold that you collect to buy better weapons and gadgets to outgun your opposition. With completely destructible environments, you will excavate your own path around each map while dodging randomised pitfalls, traps and monsters that will threaten to hamper your mining efforts.

There will also be other multiplayer game modes such as Deathmatch, Crazy King, and Diamond Dash, that can be played solo against the AI or when competing with friends online.

Miner Meltdown will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2020.
