Bandai Namco Entertainment has shared a video message from Tales of series producer Yusuke Tomizawa to express his gratitude to fans of the long-running role-playing game series.
“Today, December 15, 2025, marks the 30th anniversary of the Tales of series. We would like to express our deepest gratitude once again to all our fans around the world who have continued to support the series,” Tomizawa begins.
“Since December 2024, we’ve been rolling out initiatives in advance as part of our 30th anniversary year. Today marks the official start of our full 30th anniversary year, and we aim to make this a year filled with even greater excitement and news.
“As part of our 30th anniversary celebrations, we’d like to reintroduce the commemorative key visual created by ufotable, which we recently unveiled. This illustration was created with the theme, ‘Step back into the story,’ which is also the 30th anniversary concept. It features characters from titles celebrating anniversaries during the 30th anniversary period from 2025 to 2026, as well as characters from titles recently released as remasters.
“This illustration symbolises the 30th anniversary, inviting you into the story alongside the characters. And with the desire to have as many people as possible around the world experience the Tales of series, we aim to provide opportunities to play past titles. We will continue to advance the remaster project with the goal of assembling as many remastered titles as possible, as quickly as possible.
“The next title we announced the other day is Tales of Berseria Remastered. This year, we have announced three remastered titles, and since they were completed relatively recently, we will continue advancing our project to bring you even more classic masterpieces from the past starting in 2026.
“At the same time, we will earnestly prepare for the future that lies ahead. Encountering new stories and new characters is the most important aspect of Tales of, and it is what you all look forward to. The evolution of console games has ushered in an era where each title demands significantly more time than before. Yet the development of entirely new games has continued unabated for over thirty years, persisting today and into the future. While we cannot share specific details at this time, please look forward to the future of Tales of.
