Take-Two Interactive have been “believers” in Nintendo Switch for a while, their early enthusiasm resulting in NBA 2K17 appearing in the new home gaming system’s preview trailer.

Now, when speaking at the Credit Suisse 20th Annual Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference, Take-Two president Karl Slatoff has praised the “great effort” that Nintendo is making to support third-party developers.

“The folks at Nintendo are making a great effort to support third-party developers, we’re very optimistic on the Switch though we are not announcing anything specific today,” Slatoff shared with those in attendance.

Nintendo was scorned heavily by Bethesda for not engaging with third-party publishers enough with Wii U, so it has been encouraging to see a far more positive stance surround Nintendo Switch.

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
