Take-Two Interactive president Karl Slatoff has shared how “happy” the publisher was to have the chance to be involved with revealing Nintendo Switch to the world.

His comments came in Take-Two’s Q2 2017 earnings conference call, where it was reiterated that “specific games and details” will be revealed at a later date – presumably the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017.

“We are happy that Take-Two had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on their first look video on Nintendo Switch, which was revealed last month and will launch in March 2017,” Slatoff shared.

“While we are not confirming any specific titles this time, we’re pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo, and support of the Nintendo Switch. We look forward to revealing specific games and details at a later date.”

That echoes comments that the publisher had made when asked if NBA 2K17’s appearance in the reveal trailer meant that it was confirmed for the console: “We’re happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Nintendo on the trailer. While we are not confirming any specific titles at this time, we are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo and support of Nintendo Switch. We look forward to revealing specific details at a later date.”

Take-Two had supported Wii U with NBA 2K13, but, presumably after hardware sales had faltered, soon shifted their attention to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Nintendo Switch will release worldwide in March 2017.
