Ubisoft has revealed Co-op Challenges in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, encouraging players to work together to take down enemy Rabbids.
That will require communication and synchronisation between the two players to succeed in the turn-based combat adventure, with the mode to put your teamwork skills to the test. Each player will control two heroes, playing with either a single Joy-Con each or two Nintendo Switch Pro Controllers on the same Nintendo Switch Console.
These special maps can be accessed in the Buddydome, one of the several Rabbolatories that the Rabbids have created in the Mushroom Kingdom. Each Co-op Challenge has different objectives, whether that is to reach a certain area, defeat a specific number of enemies, or to escort Toad and Toadette.
The video that Ubisoft has shared sees creative director Davide Soliani and lead producer Xavier Manzanares explore and talk about the Co-op Challenges in more detail, as they look to escort Toad and Toadette on the Rabbids Invasion map in the Sherbet Desert world.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on August 29th.
