Coffee Stain Publishing and Coffee Stain North have confirmed a release date for Goat Simulator 3 on Nintendo Switch 2, news that was shared in this week’s Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase presentation.
Lick, flip, and headbutt your way across the island of San Angora, where dreams come to life (as long as your dream is to be a goat). Complete wacky missions, uncover hidden secrets, and cause as much chaos as you can in this sandbox adventure where you make the rules.
The game also offers over 350 customisation options, from goat gears with special game-enhancing features, to alternative goats that transform your appearance dramatically – there’s something for everyone!
The developer has outlined the game’s key features, which include:
- You can be a goat.
- You can be a goat… on Nintendo Switch 2!
- One of your friends can be a goat too, and join you in local or online co-op.
- Customisation! If you want to be fancy you can wear the skins of tall goats, stripey goats, and many more. There’s a goat for everyone!
- Dress up your goat in all kinds of nonsense, from toilet rolls and tea trays, to jetpacks and firework launchers.
- More events, collectibles, mini-games, easter eggs and secrets than you can shake a goat at.
Goat Simulator 3 will be released digitally on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch 2 worldwide on 1 April 2026.
