Eastasiasoft Limited and Softstar have announced that the tactical role-playing game Empire of Angels IV will soon see release on Nintendo Switch.
The first time that the series has been on consoles since it started back in 1993, this updated edition has “lush 3D graphics, strategic turn-based combat and an all-female cast of characters fully voiced in Chinese, along with revised localisation for English text support.”
With no prior knowledge needed to enjoy this brand new adventure, you will have the chance to join the Namtar Investigation Team patrolling the Land of Asgard to maintain order against a plague that drives ordinary people to mindless violence.
When Valkryie Kingdom legion captain Niya witnesses a shining orb falling from the sky, everything that she understands about Asgard’s history and its fragile peace is suddenly called into question. She sets out on a world-spanning mission with her trusted allies to uncover the truth, as a mysterious plague threatens to tear them apart.
With alternate narrative paths and ending variations based on your actions, you will be able to meet and enlist “more than a dozen” female warriors – each with access to multiple class trees and 22 unit types, as well as character-exclusive advanced classes which are unlocked through exploration and hidden side quests.
Empire of Angels IV will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in Summer 2021.
