The Pokémon Company International has revealed a code distribution for Sylveon, released to coincide with the 2024 Pokémon World Championships which are taking place this weekend.
Running until Monday 19 August, you can use the code SLEEPTALKW0RLDS to receive the Fairy-type Intertwining Pokémon in your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
How to unlock Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
There is no need to worry about missing your opportunity to unlock the Mystery Gift feature, as it will happen through natural story progression. The Pokémon Company International has stated that it “takes approximately 1 to 1.5 hours of playtime before you can access the Mystery Gift feature,” which is accurate.
You will unlock the chance to use Mystery Gift once you reach each game’s first Pokémon Center, at which point you are introduced to the Union Circle – the way in which you can join or form a group with other players.
How to use Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
To claim a Mystery Gift in-game, you can follow these steps:
- Launch your Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet game.
- Press the X Button.
- Select Poké Portal
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Select Get via Internet or Get with Code/Password as required.
- Select the Mystery Gift you want to receive or enter your Code/Password.
- Watch as your Mystery Gift arrives
- Remember to Save your game!
