Microids has announced that Syberia 3 will release on Nintendo Switch, developed in collaboration with artist and author Benoit Sokal.

The adventure game will see players assume the role of Kate Walker after she is found left for dead on a shore.

Taken in by the Youkol tribe, a nomadic people that care for snow ostriches during their migration season, she discovers that they are both prisoners, trapped in the city of Valsembor, and must discover a way to escape in order to continue her journey. At the same time, Kate’s past is catching up with her…

The game will be completely dubbed in French, English, Russian, Polish and German, with subtitles in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Russian, Polish, Czech, Korean, Brazilian Portuguese, simplified and traditional Chinese. Phew.

Also, Fallout 4, Dragon Age: Origins, and Prince of Persia composer Inon Zur has penned the original soundtrack.

“We can’t wait to see Syberia fans discover Kate Walker’s new adventure on Nintendo Switch,” comments Microids vice president Elliot Grassiano. “Nintendo, with the Switch, brings one more time a whole new innovative vision to the game industry and we are proud to be part of it.”

Syberia 3 will release on Nintendo Switch in 2017.
