Adult Swim Games and Rekim have announced that Pool Panic will release on Nintendo Switch, a sprawling adventure game that the developer describes as the world’s least realistic pool simulator.

You play as a mischievous but oblivious cue ball in a giant game of pool that takes place in a colourful cartoon overworld that’s been packed with more than 100 stages. You’ll explore jungles, deserts, carnivals, cities, and more while knocking around a peculiar cast of billiard balls – most of which won’t appreciate being pocketed.

With evolving rule sets and mechanics, you will be forced to think strategically about how to line up the perfect shot in each stage – whether that be solving puzzles or fighting bosses.

You can play through the entire journey on your own to then challenge up to four of your friends to a ridiculous pool party in local multiplayer.

Pool Panic will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2018.
