Ultimate Games and Hydragon have announced that Psycho Wolf is in development for Nintendo Switch.

You play as the “psycho wolf,” a shady scientist who deceived everyone that lived in his village and must now face the consequences of his actions.

The single-player experience will let you use your axe “in an uncompromising manner,” with gameplay that will mix simple rules, running, exploration, crafting and survival elements.

“Psycho Wolf is a game that doesn’t fit into genres and combines many different solutions. Running plays a crucial role – you’ll need to keep moving almost all the time,” explains Hydragon lead programmer Łukasz Majewski.

“There is no shortage of exploration, with various villages and their surroundings waiting to be discovered, as well as survival and crafting elements and opportunities to swing your axe. Psycho Wolf is a title that should especially appeal to fans of Don’t Starve and other similar games.”

Psycho Wolf will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
