More than three years after launch, Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition demonstrates that it continues to be a steady seller for Capcom.
The publisher had initially shipped 1.1 million copies, and, between July – September 2014, they’ve sold another 100,000 copies to carry that over the 1.2 million mark.
As Siliconera report, it’s impressive seeing as Capcom haven’t updated the handheld iteration as they have done with the console counterparts. There’s no Arcade Edition, 2012, or Ultra Street Fighter IV content, meaning that it remains exactly as it was when it launched, with the online multiplayer component intact.
