Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Update 2.0.1 Corrects King K. Rool Challenge Bug

Nintendo has released a software update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, that now sees the mascot brawler on update version 2.0.1.

With update version 3.0.0 promised in the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, this minor update has been pushed live to correct a bug that meant that the King K. Rool challenge wouldn’t unlock.

Those that have been affected by the bug needn’t fret, as you will simply need to reload your Adventure save data for it to clear.

  • A bug in Ver. 2.0.0 where the King K. Rool challenge in the Adventure section of Challenges wouldn’t clear, even after fulfilling the conditions, has been fixed. If you have experienced the bug, please reload your Adventure save data. After that, return to the main menu and the King K. Rool challenge will clear.

General

  • Several issues have been fixed to improve gameplay experience.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.
