Update: Nintendo has since deleted the tweet, replacing it with another that states that the update “releases within 7 days.”
Original: Nintendo has announced that a new software update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be made available on Wednesday 31st July.
We can expect this to be detailed in tomorrow’s video presentation, but, as with the others that have come before it, will mean that any replays that you have created in versions before 3.1.0 will no longer be compatible.
If you want to keep them, you will need to convert your replays by going to Vault > Replays > Replay Data > Convert to Video, before updating the game.
