Nintendo of America has announced that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be playable at Evo 2018, letting the fighting game community play an early demo of the Nintendo Switch exclusive.
The mascot brawler has long been a central part of Evo, and this year will be no different. Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will both appear as main stage events, with the GameCube classic to be seen in the World Finals on Sunday.
The entire Evo 2018 competition will be streamed live on Twitch this weekend, and starts today, Friday 3rd August, at 8am PT (11am ET).
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on December 7th.
