Nintendo has confirmed the resolution and frame rate that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will run at on Nintendo Switch.

The mascot brawler, that has seen every fighter from across the history of the series rejoin the battle, will run at 1080p and 60 frames per second when docked in TV mode and at 720p and 60 frames per second when playing on the go in Handheld mode.

With the chance for as many as eight players to battle it out, you can use a wide range of controller options including Nintendo GameCube controllers (whether original or newly designed), Joy-Con, or the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.

For those wondering how they will be able to connect their GameCube controller to the portable home console, Nintendo has added that the GameCube Controller Adapter for Wii U will be compatible.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will release exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide on December 7th.
