Nintendo has announced that an in-game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate event will start this week, which will see certain Spirits appear more often on the Spirit Board.
The theme this time is “A Spectacle to Behold!” with the event running from 6am on Friday 14th December to 6am on Monday 17th December 2018.
“Characters who wear glasses or sunglasses will be coming out in force on the Spirit Board! Defeat them in battle to earn more gold than usual!” Nintendo explains.
“The Legend-class Jeff and James McCloud, plus Ace-class Brittany and Brewster, will also appear at set times. Definitely take a gander if you feel four eyes are better than two!”
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.

- Brewster (Ace): Appears at 3am and 3pm every day
- Brittany (Ace): Appears at 9am and 9pm every day
- James McCloud (Legend): Appears at 6am and 6pm every day
- Jeff (Legend): Appears at 12am and 12pm every day
