Super Smash Bros. fans shouldn’t expect the forthcoming Wii U entry any time soon, as development “may take a while” Masahiro Sakurai has reiterated.
He previously commented that work wouldn’t begin until Kid Icarus: Uprising was complete, yet with the Nintendo 3DS title now set for a March release Super Smash Bros. on Wii U is still a while off yet Sakurai believes “your patience will be rewarded”.
“I can’t really say anything until things settle down with Kid Icarus,” Sakurai told Nintendo Power. “And a lot of it will depend on the team that I end up assembling for Smash Bros. It may take a while, but I think your patience will be rewarded.”
