Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that a demo for its grid-based tactical combat RPG Super Robot Wars Y is now available on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch.
You can experience the first chapter of the game, with the chance to carry your save data from the demo (which includes character creation data, items and resources) to the full version at launch. Those who complete the first chapter will also receive special in-game rewards in the full version at launch.
Bandai Namco Forge Digitals is the developer behind Super Robot Wars Y, which gathers units and pilots from different anime series to collectively battle against their mutual foes.
In this latest addition to the Super Robot Wars series, which has been going for more than 30 years, you must strategically place your units before commanding them to defeat your opponents. The credits and resources you earn from each mission can be used to upgrade your units and train your pilots, helping you to overcome whatever challenge awaits you next.
You can expect many units and mecha series like Combattler V, Aura Battler Dunbine, New Story of Aura Battler Dunbine, Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Mobile Suit Z Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack, M-MSV, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, Mobile Suit Gundam the Witch from Mercury Season 1, Mazinkaiser VS the Great General of Darkness, Getter Robo Arc, Majestic Prince, Macross Delta, Macross Delta: Passionate Walküre, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion III Glorification, Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection, Godzilla Singular Point, and SSSS.DYNAZENON.
