Idea Factory International has announced that Super Neptunia RPG will release on Nintendo Switch, a 2D side-scrolling RPG that takes place in the world of Gaminindustri.
It exists in one of the infinite dimensions and is a world where 2D games reign supreme. The Bombyx Mori rule over the world, an organisation that is fiercely devoted to these games although that comes with a heavy price.
The citizens are forced to offer 2D games to Bombyx Mori as taxes, and those that dare to use new technologies or create games that don’t meet their standards are banished to the Trial Grounds.
In this dark world, a girl called Neptune wakes from her sleep and, with a strange book in her hands, she sets out on the journey of a Hero.
Super Neptunia RPG will release for Nintendo Switch in Europe and North America in Fall 2018.
