XGen Studios have announced that Super Motherload will no longer be released on WiiWare due to the “current stage of the console cycle.”
Instead, they will develop the title to incorporate full 1080p support, and are targeting it to release across digital platforms such as Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and Steam.
With a promise of future announcements, we’d speculate that there’s still the potential for a Wii U release down the line.
