Super Mario Run Earns $30 Million In Two Weeks

Super Mario Run has earned $30 million (£24.4 million) in revenue since it launched on the App Store worldwide on Thursday 15th December.

That’s according to games, eSports, and mobile market intelligence firm Newzoo, who estimate that the game has been downloaded more than 90 million times.

From those, they report that around 3 million players have chosen to purchase the full game at $9.99 (£7.99). That works out at 3.3 percent conversion rate, which may be a disappointment to Nintendo as they continue to work hard to crack the mobile market.

Android users can pre-register now to be notified when the auto-runner platformer becomes available on Google Play, which Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé promised would happen “as quickly as possible.”
