Nintendo has released a new software update for Super Mario Maker 2, which sees the Nintendo Switch exclusive on version 3.0.1.

This now prevents players from immediately performing actions after unpausing the game when playing Ninji Speedruns, as well as addressing unknown “issues” to improve the gameplay experience.

Super Mario Maker 2 is now available exclusively for Nintendo Switch worldwide.

  • When the player opens the pause menu while playing Ninji Speedruns, they will not be able to perform any actions for a certain period after closing the pause menu.

  • Issues have been fixed to make for a more pleasant gaming experience.
