Tick Tock Clock Star 1: Roll into the Cage
The Power Star is located at the very top of the course inside a cage area. For this star, it’s best to jump into the clock when the minute hand is at twelve. This will stop all the mechanisms making it easier to reach the top of the course where the Power Star is.
Tick Tock Clock Star 2: The Pit and the Pendulums
Once again, this Power Star is easier grabbed with the mechanisms stopped or at least slowed down (minute hand pointing at the three). Retrace your steps over to the first Power Star only this time jump on top of the cage and continue onward. After you’ve climbed a pole continue to head left/anti-clockwise. Keep following this route until you reach two pendulums. Just beyond them is the Power Star.
Tick Tock Clock Star 3: Get a Hand
For this Power Star you’ll need to make sure you enter the clock at a time where the mechanisms will move. Make your way upward until you reach the platform where the minute hand crosses over. Hop aboard and ride it around until you reach a small alcove. Inside is the star.
Tick Tock Clock Star 4: Stomp on the Thwomp
Easiest with the mechanisms slowed down. Continue onward to the cage housing the first Power Star. Climb up the pole and this time head right/clockwise upward toward the heart. Continue to follow this route upward. Along the way, you’ll pass by four bars springing outward trying to push Mario off and spinning mechanisms. Eventually, you’ll reach a dead end. Wait for the clock hand to swing by and hop aboard. You’ll then see a Thwomp slamming down on a conveyor belt. Jump on top and ride upward to reach the Power Star.
Tick Tock Clock Star 5: Timed Jumps on Moving Bars
Follow the same route you took for the previous Power Star reaching the heart container. Head upward then continue over to the right where you will see a cage with the Power Star in and three bars springing outward leading inside. Time your jumps upward to reach the Power Star.
Tick Tock Clock Star 6: Stop Time for Red Coins
As the name suggest stop time by jumping into the clock with the minute hand on twelve. Now instead of heading left, head over to the right toward what would normally be spinning platforms heading upward. Since you entered with the minute hand on the twelve, they should be stationary. Make your way upward grabbing the eight red coins along the way.
Tick Tock Clock Star 7: Collect 100 Coins
This is as simple as it sounds. You will need to collect 100 Coins in Tick Tock Clock, at which point the Power Star will appear wherever you secure the final Coin.
