Super Mario 3D Land sells over 500,000 units in Japan

Super Mario 3D Land release across Japan has provided the significant boost that Nintendo have much needed for their floundering handheld.

According to the latest figures provided by Enterbrain and Famitsu, for the month between October 31st – November 27th, Mario’s latest outing was able to achieve an impressive sales figure of 542,842 units – outselling the title in second place by nearly two to one.
