Modus Games and Pixile Studios have revealed that Super Animal Royale will release on Nintendo Switch “later this year.”
Pitched as “a battle royale with a zoological twist,” the adorably brutal 2D multiplayer shooter will come to the portable home console with cross-play and cross-save compatibility with the Steam, PlayStation and Google Stadia versions.
Playing as a genetically modified animal picked from more than 300 breeds, after customising your character with over 600 cosmetic items you will jump off the back of a Giant Eagle before battling it out in a 64-player fight to the death – firing shotguns and sparrows, tossing grenades and bananas, and riding emus and hamster balls along the way
Super Animal Royale will release on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide in 2021.
