GameMill Entertainment has announced that Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues will release on Nintendo Switch.

This side-scrolling beat ’em up action game has taken inspiration from Sony’s series, which is now available on Netflix.

Delivering “an original two-fold story from duelling perspectives made in collaboration with the series showrunners,” you can expect character-driven cutscenes and dialogue featuring the voices of Ralph Macchio, William Zabka and more.

You will have the chance to play as Daniel LaRusso and his students at Miyagi-Do Karate, or their Cobra Kai rivals, who are led by Daniel’s old rival Johnny Lawrence. Only through completing both sides of the campaign will you unlock the ultimate ending.

There are eight playable characters that you can swap between seamlessly in battle, that each has their own unique upgradeable attacks, combos and skill trees, coupled with the chance to team up in two-player local co-operative multiplayer.

Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch worldwide on 24th November 2020.
