SteamWorld Heist begins boarding in new gameplay footage

Image & Form’s SteamWorld Heist continues to excite, with the Swedish developer having this week treated us all to gameplay footage captured from the demo build that they recently took to PAX East.

Space adventures and strategic, turn-based shoot-outs are abound in their latest game, where players take command of Captain Piper and a rag-tag robot team with whom you’ll explore and scavenge the remains of a destroyed world – boarding enemy space ships along the way.

Steam Powered Giraffe’s “Prepare for Boarding” closes out the video, a collaborative song written and performed by the group that will be appearing in the game.

SteamWorld Heist will release for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS through the Nintendo eShop later this year.
