Natsume has announced that Wild Guns Reloaded will release on Nintendo Switch next week, a fast-paced gallery style shooter that mixes the Wild West with steampunk.

With Annie having tracked down the famed bounty hunter Clint to get revenge on the Kid gang, you must blast away bad robots in eight stages that are each broken down into three zones.

You can choose to play as Clint, Annie, Doris, or Bullet the dog (or all characters together in multiplayer), as you jump, dive and roll to keep out of the way of the bullets that enemies let loose in your direction.

The Nintendo Switch version has new modes in the Beginner Mode for newcomers that lets them play with unlimited lives, and Boss Rush: Time Attack for veterans that will let you take on every boss one right after each other.

“Over 20 years ago, we released Wild Guns for the Super NES and it has been a special title for us ever since. We are excited to bring the steampunk Western shooter to a new generation as it returns to Nintendo this April,” explains Natsume president and CEO, Hiro Maekawa.

“We are offering our experienced players Boss Rush: Time Attack and introducing new players to the play style with Beginner Mode as we fulfil our mission to ‘Make Everyone Happy’.”

Wild Guns Reloaded will release at retail and on the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo Switch on April 17th, priced at $29.99.
