When Splatoon surpassed one million sales across Japan alone, Nintendo announced that they would celebrate with Splatoon Squid Sisters Live 2016.

That was held on Saturday 30th January at the Makuhari Messe convention center, and saw the Squid Sisters take to the stage to entertain a crowd excitedly waving neon glow sticks in anticipation.

The Inkopolis idols warbled through their energetic songs, which were penned by Yusuke Amano and Tsubasa Sakaguchi as part of the Wii U exclusive’s psychedelic soundtrack.

The concert was broadcast live on Niconico, but has since been captured and uploaded to YouTube for the enjoyment of fans worldwide. Let’s hope Nintendo don’t pull it…
