Starter Pokémon revealed for Pokémon Black/White Version 2

The latest episode of weekly Japanese television show Pokémon Smash has provided further information regarding Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2.

Game Freak director Junichi Masuda once again made an appearance, this time to share new details alongside the first footage of the games in action.

Whilst nothing more than we’d already learned was shared, Masuda confirmed that, as with Pokémon Black and Pokémon White, Tepig, Snivy, and Oshawott will return as starter Pokémon.

Routes between towns are also significantly more detailed, with new animations also being incorporated from those seen within the previous instalments.

Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 are confirmed to release across Japan on June 23rd, with a North American and European launch to follow.
