With the title sequence to Game of Thrones having been recently restyled to match The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, new YouTube channel Noober Goober Gaming has followed suit in turning their attention to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

With the world holding out until December to see J.J. Abrams’ sequel, the blockbuster’s second teaser trailer is treated to a 16-bit conversion that imagines what it would’ve been like on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System.

Aside from content, it’s not an entirely faithful conversion in that some of this wouldn’t have been possible on Nintendo’s historic console. Still, it allows us to dream of what might have been. To see it in reality, try the Super Star Wars series.
