Star Wars & Mario Kart Collide In Dark Pixel’s Star Kart

The Kart Awakens! Bananas, Blue Shells and Golden Mushrooms are thrown at the Star Wars universe, as Dark Pixel imagine what it would be like if iconic locations were used in Mario Kart.

Their video, which took a year to make, sees the Mushroom Kingdom stars steering X-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Fighter and other futuristic spacecraft on an intergalactic race of explosive proportions. It’s the perfect fusion of two of the world’s greatest loves!

With ambitions to create viral content with distinct gaming influences, the channel has produced videos such as Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker – The Movie, 5 Things You Can Do That Super Mario Can’t, and Star Fox: Invasion. Enjoy!

  1. Haha! Honestly? ~ Stop the press!!.. not even a little bit joking, this would be huge! Famous Star Wars locations, the Rogue Squadron look, with Lego Star Wars tongue in cheek and MK panache for great courses… and yah, of course Peach would be flying the Millenium Falcon.

Also kinda wondering why Lego games haven’t taken advantage of doing DLC for MK8. It would be a great marketing tool, doing a few courses. Mario maker levels is fun and all but for devs, these are golden opportunities that would be viewed by many as relevant and constructive marketing.
