Star Fox Zero expectedly led today’s Nintendo Digital Event, later starting their extensive Nintendo Treehouse Live @ E3 coverage where Shigeru Miyamoto shared that they are working with PlatinumGames again.

That collaboration is namely with Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto, with the two companies co-developing the Wii U exclusive.

Fox, Falco, Peppy and Slippy are back, with players set to pilot an Arwing, Landmaster Tank and new Gyrowing vehicle.

Nintendo have put the Wii U GamePad to work while piloting an Arwing in allowing players to control a cockpit view using gyro controls, whereas you can still use more traditional controls. The two viewpoints will offer “distinct gaming advantages,” while leaving the TV screen free for more cinematic moments in the new all range mode.

Star Fox Zero will launch exclusively for Wii U in Q4 2015.
