Under a fortnight away Nintendo have shared what they have planned for Hyper Japan Festival 2015, which will see Super Mario Maker, Star Fox Zero and Splatoon the star attractions on Wii U.

Those hands-on experiences will be accompanied by The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate on Nintendo 3DS, with other games joining them all on show.

The Nintendo stand will boast a special 30th Anniversary section dedicated to Super Mario, which is accompanied by a themed area that will showcase “some of Nintendo’s most iconic games.”

Activities will let you participate in the Super Mario Maker Quickfire challenge to take on levels in the Wii U exclusive, or you can team up for inky warfare in Splatoon. There’ll also be a ‘How to Hunt’ masterclass for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, which will be shown on a larger screen.

Meanwhile, a Super Smash Bros. Cosplay Competition invites you to dress up as your favourite character from the mascot brawler for the chance to win Best Costume. With Nintendo also holding ‘amiibo team-up tournaments’ that will see you fight for glory against other trained level 50 amiibo players and teams.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own Nintendo 3DS to score a strong StreetPass opportunity, while an exclusive merchandise range will be on sale that can normally only be bought from the Nintendo Official UK Store.

Hyper Japan Festival 2015 takes place from Friday 10th – Sunday 12th July 2015 at the O2, London.
