We haven’t heard any more about Splatoon since the ink-spewing third-person action shooter was revealed at E3 2014, but that changed with this week’s Nintendo Direct.
As we know, you will play as a squid that can freely switch into human-form so that you can mark your turf by splattering coloured ink everywhere. While online multiplayer is at Splatoon’s core, it will also encompass a single-player campaign that will pit you against an army of octopi equipped with their own arsenal of ink weaponry.
