Square Enix trademark Mini Ninjas: Hiro’s Adventure

Square Enix have filed a trademark for Mini Ninjas: Hiro’s Adventure within Europe, also registering corresponding domain names such as minininjahirosadventure.com.

Developed by IO Interactive, action-adventure title Mini Ninjas was released back in 2009 across multiple platforms, and blended an action, stealth and explorative formula. The player was able to switch between a group of six ninjas; Hiro, Futo, Suzume, Shun, Tora and Kunoichi, each with their own unique abilities.

Well received by critics, the game sold particularly well on Wii and Nintendo DS, and I’m personally hoping that, if this proves to be a new title, that it hits either the Wii U or Nintendo 3DS.
