Square Enix share new Kingdom Hearts 3D details, screenshots

Square Enix have unveiled a range of new screenshots, presenting new areas, characters and features within Nintendo 3DS release, Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance.

Whilst the game centres upon Sora and Riku, you are accompanied on your journey by animal characters that may be utilised called Dream Eaters. Within the screenshots you can see Sora riding the Wonder Nyah, and using the Harilion as a flail, whereas Riku uses the Yagihorn, which is a goat with two horns.

The screenshots show La Cite des Cloches from the Hunchback of Notre Dame and Prankster’s Paradise, two new worlds previously announced. During the latter, players will be able to see the Blue Fairy change Pinocchio into a real boy.

You can also see the Nightmares that you’ll be faced with battling, including the Ice Penguin and Kuma Panda.

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is due to release for Nintendo 3DS in Japan during Spring 2012.
