Having previously posted a loss of ¥12 billion ($150 million), Square Enix were able to turn their fortunes around within the last financial year.
Within their latest earnings report, the publisher has posted a profit of ¥6.1 billion ($76 million), with revenue up by 2.1 per cent at ¥127.9 billion ($1.6 billion).
Such success was credited to Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Final Fantasy XIII-2, the former achieving sales of 2.18 million copies worldwide since it launched in August.
